*What are Procedural Safeguards?
Procedural Safeguards are those procedures developed and implemented
to protect the rights of children and families in the early intervention
system. Procedural Safeguards provide a set of guarantees that certain
processes and procedures will be followed within the early intervention
system to safeguard the legal rights and protections available to
children and families. This training will review the main areas of
protections and discuss system procedures that must be followed.
